Job summary

Renesas Electronics is offering a six-month internship at its new design center in Catania, Italy, for an MSc student in Electronic Engineering to develop a final graduation thesis. The role focuses on research and development in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, with emphasis on Power Management ICs and Smart Power Stages for HPC.

You will collaborate with the Performance Computing Power team under guidance from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MSc in Electronic Engineering with eligible to undertake an internship.
• Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit concepts.
• Familiarity with transistor-level design and PVT analysis.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Interest in Power Management ICs and HPC applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform transistor-level design of analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks.
• Evaluate performance tradeoffs among different circuit topologies.
• Document simulation results and conduct technical reviews.
• Ensure design quality and compliance with specifications.
