Renesas Electronics is seeking a brilliant and motivated MSc student in Electronic Engineering for an internship to develop his/her final graduation thesis at the new design center in Catania, Italy. Six months, focusing on silicon validation automation for Power Management IC, with mentorship from the Performance Computing Power team.

The role involves designing test setups, automating validation, and collaborating across Design, Applications, Firmware, Product and Test Engineers, with

Competenze

• Proficiency in any programming language; Python is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronics.
• Ability to read board-level analog and digital PCB schematics.
• Strong communication skills; English proficiency.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and optimize lab test setups for silicon evaluation.
• Develop automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts (Python).
• Validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and PMICs against specs.
• Perform data acquisition, statistical analysis, and detailed technical reports.
• Collaborate with Design, Applications, Firmware, Product and Test Engineers.
