Renesas is seeking an MSc student in Electronic Engineering for a six-month internship in Catania, Italy, to develop the final graduation project. The role focuses on silicon validation automation within the Performance Computing Power team, supported by experienced engineers.

You will design test setups, create Python-based validation frameworks, and validate power management ICs against electrical and functional specs, while producing detailed reports.

• Proficiency with any programming language (Python is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronics.
• Able to read board level analog and digital PCB schematics.
• Cross-cultural awareness in multisite environments.
• Excellent command of verbal and written English.

Renesas is seeking a brilliant and motivated MSc student in Electronic Engineering for an internship to develop his/her final graduation thesis. The internshiphasa duration of six months to be spent in the new Renesas design center located in Catania, Italy.Objective of the internship is to perform research and development inthe silicon validation automation domainwith a special focus on Power Management IC.During the internship, the candidate will join the Performance Computing Power team in Catania working side by side with experienced engineers that will provide guidance and support throughout any technical challenge.

Design, develop, and optimize advanced laboratory test setups for complex silicon evaluation

Develop automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts using Python.

Validate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications.

Perform data acquisition, statistical analysis, result correlation, and preparation of detailed technical reports.

Collaborate closely with Design, Applications, Firmware, Productand TestEngineers.

Qualifications
