Generali Italia is seeking a Chief AI Office professional to support the definition and execution of Generali Investments' AI strategy, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to drive governance and innovation across the organization.

The role involves coordinating AI initiatives, tracking milestones, preparing governance documentation, researching AI trends, and maintaining dashboards to ensure accurate, up-to-date information for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (CS/AI/Data Science).
• Understanding of AI concepts, technologies and use cases with curiosity toward trends.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with AI tools and interest in emerging AI technologies.
• Basic understanding of project management and coordinating across stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python) a plus.
• Proficiency in English (C1+); Italian a plus.

Job Description

The Chief AI Office supports the definition and execution of Generali Investments' AI strategy, fostering the adoption of AI solutions across the organization and promoting innovation through cross-functional collaboration. The team works closely with business functions, subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to coordinate strategic initiatives, monitor the progress of AI-related programs and contribute to the evolution of governance frameworks supporting the responsible adoption of AI technologies. Main Tasks:

• Support the coordination, monitoring and execution of AI-related initiatives across the organization, collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.
• Tracking action items, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely follow-up of ongoing projects.
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations, reports and documentation for governance meetings, working groups and management discussions.
• Conducting research and benchmarking activities on Artificial Intelligence trends, technologies and market developments.
• Preparing briefing materials, meeting summaries and supporting documentation for internal stakeholders.
• Maintaining project trackers, dashboards and progress reports, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
• Contributing to ad hoc analyses, presentations and strategic projects as required by the team's priorities.
• Supporting the assessment, testing and adoption of AI tools and solutions, helping identify opportunities to create business value and improve ways of working.

Requirements

• Master's degree level, preferably in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administrations or related fields.
• Understanding of AI concepts, technologies and use cases, with curiosity toward emerging trends and innovation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or similar) and strong interest in exploring emerging AI technologies.
• Basic understanding of project management methodology and ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python) or AI-related technologies is considered a plus
• Previous academic, internship or project experience in technology, innovation, data analytics or AI-related topics is considered a plus.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (C1 level or above). Knowledge of Italian is considered a plus.
