Job summary

Certilogo, an eBay company, is hiring in Milan for a full-time AI/ML Engineer to design, prototype and productionize AI-based solutions for authentication and digital product experiences. The role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Tech Leads and the Innovation team, with a hybrid model (3 days per week in the office).

Requirements include 4+ years in ML/DL with CV, strong Python and ML framework experience, and knowledge of MLOps practices. English fluency is required; Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on ML/DL experience, incl. CV and production AI systems.
• Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of CV techniques: image classification, detection, embeddings.
• Experience with foundation models, multimodal/vision-language models.
• Data and experimentation skills; SQL familiarity.
• Experience with MLOps: experiment tracking, CI/CD, deployment.
• Fluent English; Italian a plus.

Responsibilities

• Turn AI opportunities into measurable product outcomes from framing to deployment.
• Design, develop and evolve ML/CV solutions for authentication and digital experiences.
• Evaluate modern AI approaches and apply when value is created; prefer simple models when possible.
• Build robust experimentation and evaluation practices with meaningful metrics.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and partners to shape requirements.
