Ideofarm, the innovation hub of Powersoft S.p.A., is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design, build, and deploy end‑to‑end AI automations within the Powersoft ecosystem. You will work on Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Dataverse to deliver intelligent workflows and system integrations.

Candidate should have hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and a strong foundation in SQL/Python for data tasks, plus proficiency in English for technical collaboration.

Competenze

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related STEM disciplines.
• At least 2 years of experience in AI, automation, or low‑code development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio for building and deploying conversational agents.

To support our continuous growth, we are looking for an AI Solutions Engineer with solid computer engineering skills and a specialization in the Microsoft AI and low-code ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), and Dataverse, and the ability to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered automations and orchestrations. The role focuses on integrating AI capabilities into the Powersoft ecosystem, building intelligent workflows, and connecting business systems, with occasional data analysis to support specific business needs.

Role and responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable and robust AI-powered solutions, collaborating with technical and product stakeholders
• Design and develop conversational agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio, grounding them on company knowledge sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, and other business systems)
• Build automations and orchestrations with Power Automate, integrating AI services across the Powersoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Dynamics, third‑party APIs)
• Design and manage data structures in Dataverse, ensuring proper modeling, security, and integration with Power Platform components
• Develop custom Power Apps interfaces where needed to expose AI-powered functionality to business users
• Implement and optimize retrieval and grounding strategies for knowledge‑base agents (document indexing, knowledge sources, topic design, orchestration)
• Ensure robustness and security of AI systems (hallucination mitigation, prompt injection prevention, sensitive data management, governance and DLP policies)
• Optimize agent performance, cost, and reliability (prompt optimization, model selection, fallback strategies)
• Occasionally analyze datasets to extract insights and support data‑driven decisions, applying data science techniques when specific business problems require it
• Manage the lifecycle of deployed solutions: from prototype to production, including monitoring, versioning, and maintenance
• Write technical documentation and share knowledge with the team through knowledge‑sharing sessions

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related STEM disciplines
• At least 2 years of experience in AI, automation, or low‑code development roles
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio for building and deploying conversational agents
• Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse (data modeling, security roles, integrations)
• Experience integrating AI services into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and connecting external systems via connectors and APIs
• Practical experience with LLMs applied to business scenarios: prompt engineering, knowledge grounding, evaluation, and deployment
• Understanding of RAG/grounding concepts as applied within Copilot Studio (knowledge sources, chunking, embeddings, re‑ranking)
• Skills in data analysis and manipulation (SQL, and ideally Python with Pandas/NumPy) for occasional analytical tasks
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and collaborative development practices
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML, or equivalent)
• Good command of the English language (B2 level or higher) for reading technical documentation and international collaboration

Nice to have requirements

• Knowledge of Azure governance, security, and administration (Entra ID, DLP policies, environment management)
• Experience with Azure Functions or Logic Apps for advanced integration scenarios
• Knowledge of back‑end languages (Node.js, Java, C#, Python) for custom connectors and extending Power Platform capabilities
• Front‑end skills (React, TypeScript) for custom AI‑powered user interfaces beyond Power Apps
• Familiarity with Python and its ML/AI ecosystem (PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex) for occasional custom model work
• Experience with agentic AI systems (multi‑agent, tool use, autonomous workflows)
• Background in audio processing or electroacoustic systems
