Job summary

Allianz Technology is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to integrate AI solutions across business processes. You will work with Allianz OEs and ecosystem, reusing MVS/AI Building Blocks, and designing custom services for production deployment.

You will ship across backend, frontend, data, and ops stacks, ensuring security and reliability, with CI/CD and containerization in regulated settings. Strong English and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineer with a track record of shipping production code across backend, frontend, data, and ops.
• Comfortable operating in unfamiliar codebases, domains, and partner environments; identifying issues and delivering value.
• Practical experience with cloud-native stacks and DevOps (CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes), testing/observability, and secure coding in regulated settings.
• Working knowledge of the modern data/AI stack and integrating LLM/agent frameworks; prompt-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be integrated with local and global domain experts to understand problems and translate them into production AI solutions.
• Reuse and extend MVS/AI Building Blocks to design and implement custom services, integrations, and agents when necessary.
• Ship solutions across different stacks, owning the path from development to production.
• Ensure security, compliance, and reliability; set up CI/CD, containerization, and IaaC as needed.
• Document, operationalize, and scale by contributing new patterns back to the central building-block catalogue.
