Lenovo is offering an internship focused on AI, automation, and data solutions. You will work with senior leaders to rapidly prototype and deliver AI-driven tools and dashboards, gaining hands-on experience with modern AI technologies and data-driven decision support.

The role emphasizes learning by doing, delivering usable solutions quickly, and collaborating within a small delivery pod across global stakeholders.

Formación

• Strong Python programming skills and exposure to data projects.

In this internship, you will work directly with senior leaders to rapidly explore, prototype, and deliver focused AI, automation, and data solutions that address real business needs. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern AI technologies while building tools that create measurable impact across the organization. This is a highly practical role focused on delivering usable solutions quickly, learning through execution, and collaborating within a small delivery pod.

What You Will Do

• Partner with senior leaders to understand business challenges, clarify requirements, and define realistic solution scopes.
• Prototype and deliver lightweight AI applications, automation tools, dashboards, scripts, and internal productivity solutions.
• Build solutions using modern AI technologies, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI-assisted development tools.
• Extract, process, and analyze structured and unstructured data to support business decision-making.
• Apply company security, confidentiality, and data-handling requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback and continuously improve delivered solutions.
• Create concise technical documentation, handover notes, and usage guidance to support future maintenance and scalability.
• Opportunity to collaborate with global stakeholders, with occasional meetings scheduled outside standard local business hours to support different time zones.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Python or another general-purpose language; JavaScript or TypeScript is a plus.
• Experience building at least one software, AI, or data-related project through coursework, personal projects, research, hackathons, open-source contributions, or internships.
• Familiarity with APIs, version-control tools such as Git, and working with data.
• Understanding of AI application concepts, such as prompt engineering, structured outputs, AI agents, or RAG.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage well-defined assignments independently, communicate blockers proactively, and seek guidance when needed.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lightweight application frameworks such as Streamlit, Gradio, Flask, FastAPI, React, or Next.js.
• Exposure to enterprise-approved LLM platforms, AI SDKs, or orchestration frameworks.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, tool calling, or agentic workflows.
• Hands-on experience working with large datasets using standard data manipulation tool such as SQL, CSV data processing, pandas, Spark, R, PowerBI, or basic data visualization.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, Google Workspace, or related enterprise APIs.
• Familiarity with workflow-automation platforms such as Power Automate, n8n, or Retool.
• Basic understanding of cloud services, containers, application deployment, authentication, and access control.
• Experience evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, groundedness, or other quality measures.
