Lenovo invites you to join an AI internship focused on turning ideas into practical business solutions. You will work directly with senior leaders to rapidly prototype AI, automation, and data solutions that address real business needs, gaining hands-on experience with modern AI technologies and tools.

You will build lightweight AI applications, dashboards, and productivity tools while learning to handle data, ensure security, and document solutions for future scalability.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience building at least one software, AI, or data-related project through coursework, personal projects, research, hackathons, open-source contributions, or internships.
• Familiarity with APIs, version-control tools such as Git, and working with data.
• Understanding of AI application concepts like prompt engineering, structured outputs, AI agents, or RAG.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage well-defined assignments independently, communicate blockers proactively, and seek guidance when needed.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to understand business challenges, clarify requirements, and define realistic solution scopes.
• Prototype and deliver lightweight AI applications, automation tools, dashboards, scripts, and internal productivity solutions.
• Build solutions using modern AI technologies, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Extract, process, and analyze structured and unstructured data to support business decision‑making.
• Apply company security, confidentiality, and data-handling requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Iterate quickly based on stakeholder feedback and improve delivered solutions.
• Create concise technical documentation, handover notes, and usage guidance for future maintenance.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders with occasional meetings across different time zones.
