Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience with school-age children in childcare, camp, or school.
• Ability to pass Virginia background checks and fingerprints.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a diverse curriculum of recreational, educational, and team-building activities.
• Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of all children enrolled in the program.
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers, camp counselors, and volunteers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom and recreational environment.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular updates and professional communication.
