Job summary

Acquire4Hire LLC seeks an Assistant Teacher to support a preschool classroom for ages 3 to 5 in Woodstock, VA. You will work with the Lead Teacher to implement activities, manage transitions, and create a caring, engaging environment that promotes growth and social development.

You will supervise play, participate in daily routines, and communicate progress to families while helping maintain a clean, organized learning space.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare facility or preschool setting.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting as required by Virginia state regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and families.
• Stamina and physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stoop, and move quickly to interact with children.
