Alstom in Rome seeks a Maintenance Technical Support Engineer (TMS) to provide on-site and remote maintenance support for Railway Signalling Systems. The role covers warranty management, field coordination, and driving retrofit/upgrades with customers and internal teams.

The candidate should have an Electronics/Telecom background, strong fault analysis skills, and hands-on tool experience. English proficiency and a willingness to travel 25% are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics/Electric/Telecommunications Engineering.
• Capability to interpret electric drawings and schemes.
• Knowledge of electronic design principle and methodology.
• Knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and common network protocols.
• RAM analysis methodology.
• Ability to use test tools: oscilloscope, wave generator, multimeter.
• Basic knowledge of railway/transportation systems is a plus.

Mansioni

• Define and implement maintenance and technical support plans.
• Coordinate and support maintenance technicians on field.
• Provide performance and log analysis.
• Deliver structured return of experience reports with statistics.
• Execute and supervise HW/SW retrofit and upgrade plans.
• Support maintenance strategy in tenders and offers.
• Collaborate with product engineering on maintainability requirements.
