Alstom is seeking a Maintenance Technical Support Engineer in Bologna to provide on-site and remote technical assistance for railway signaling systems. The role includes managing warranty obligations and serving as the technical customer interface in global service contracts.

The successful candidate will join the Maintenance and Technical Assistance team within the Services Signalling Business Unit, collaborating with systems and product engineering, installation and supply chain colleagues.

Competenze

Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge of electronic design principles; use of test tools is a plus.
Basic knowledge of common operating systems and TCP/IP networks.
Ability to read electrical drawings and schemes; team work under stress.

Mansioni

System performance monitoring.
Execution and supervision of HW and SW system upgrades.
Provide technical expertise with product engineering for bugs or unknown behaviour.
Provide customer feedback to improve products and meet customer needs.
Provide training to customer maintenance staff.
Define and implement Maintenance and technical assistance plans.
Coordinate and support maintenance technicians on field.
Support Service in defining maintenance strategy in tenders/offers.
Cooperate with product engineering on maintainability requirements during design.
