Leonardo is seeking an Expert Should Cost Engineer for the Cascina Costa (VA) office, Italy. The role focuses on analyzing mechanical and hydraulic systems, identifying cost drivers, and conducting value analyses to optimize overall cost.

This is a hybrid, permanent position within the Aerospace/Defense sector. Requirements include Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering specialization, advanced English (B2/C1), and 4–5 years in a similar role.

Competenze

• Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems in aircraft.
• Experience with cost estimation methods and value engineering.

Mansioni

• Identify and analyze mechanical and hydraulic system characteristics.
• Define cost drivers for mechanical and hydraulic components/equipment.
• Estimate product costs using parametric/analogy/bottom-up methods; perform VA/VE analyses.
