TGR Haas F1 Team, based in Maranello, Italy, seeks an Aero Physical Testing engineer to support wind tunnel studies, data analysis, and cross‑functional correlation with CFD, track results, and software tools.

You will collaborate with Aero Development, CFD, and Software groups to advance aerodynamic understanding and performance. A Master’s degree in aerospace or related field is required; PhD or 2+ years in F1 is preferred.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field; aerodynamics focus preferred.
• PhD and/or minimum 2 years’ experience in Formula 1 is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, and statistical methods.

Mansioni

• Conduct Wind Tunnel realism studies and investigate aerodynamic factors to improve testing representativeness.
• Define and develop Wind Tunnel maps and performance metrics for development decisions.
• Execute and analyze dedicated Wind Tunnel and bench experiments for actionable insights.
• Advance aerodynamic measurement techniques including pressure and flow diagnostics.
• Perform correlation studies across Wind Tunnel, Track, CFD, and benches.
• Build and maintain models and software tools meeting company standards.
