Baker Hughes is seeking an Aerodynamics Design Engineer to lead aero design and development for new rotating equipment, including compressors and radial expanders, with emphasis on gas technology, hydrogen compression, and energy storage.

You will validate thermo-fluid concepts, develop conceptual roadmaps, and produce detailed design reports while collaborating across disciplines. The role requires a Master’s degree and strong CFD skills, plus English fluency.

Competenze

• Master degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in thermodynamics, aerodynamics and fluid-dynamics.
• Good CFD skills and familiarity with VBA/Python.
• Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication.

Mansioni

• Execute aero design, validation and industrialization phase of new technologies, products & solutions.
• Perform thermodynamics, aerodynamics and fluid-dynamics analyses of new technologies and products by combining aero design with other disciplines to achieve the solution requirements.
• Develop ideas providing relevant effort in structuring conceptual roadmaps to target the goals.
• Definition of new design tools and validation of new concepts and products.
• Generate detailed technical reports and documentation of the design and testing phases.
