Baker Hughes Italy is seeking an Aerodynamics Design Engineer to lead aero design and development of rotating equipment, including centrifugal and axial compressors, turboexpanders, and radial expanders. The role focuses on thermodynamics, aerodynamics and CFD to deliver efficient solutions.

In a multidisciplinary environment you will validate concepts, develop tools, and contribute to industrialization. Master in Mechanical/Aerospace and fluent English are required, with knowledge of CFD and

Competenze

Master's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, aerodynamics and fluid dynamics.
CFD skills and familiarity with software development (VBA, Python).
Experience in turbomachinery or compressors is a plus.
Fluent in English.

Mansioni

Execute the aero design, validation and industrialization phase of new technologies, products & solutions.
Execute main thermodynamics calculations, aerodynamics and fluid-dynamics analyses of new technologies and products by combining aero design with other disciplines to achieve the solution requirements.
Develop ideas providing relevant effort in structuring conceptual roadmaps to target the goals.
Definition of new design tools and validation of new concepts and products.
Generate detailed technical reports and documentation of the design and testing phases.
