Job summary

xFarm Technologies in Milan is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the Finance & Administration team and support day-to-day accounting, invoicing and cash collection for a fast-growing, international tech company.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, ensuring accurate books and timely reporting, with a hybrid work model offering flexibility and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in an accounting, administrative or finance role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, invoicing, collections and credit management processes.
• Good command of Excel and main office tools; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Written English (at least).

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting and invoicing activities, ensuring accuracy and timely closing.
• Manage collections and credit recovery, following up on overdue receivables.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external advisors supporting the company.
• Prepare financial reports and data visualisation tools to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Contribute to a growing, international finance function with growth opportunities.
• Maintain compliance and documentation in a hybrid work setting.

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance & Administration team in Milan and support the day-to-day financial operations of a fast-growing, international tech company. You will work closely with the team and with external partners to keep accounting, invoicing and cash collection accurate, timely and well documented.

Your Mission

• Accounting & Invoicing: Support day-to-day accounting and invoicing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely closing of the books;
• Collections & Credit Recovery: Manage incoming payments and follow up on overdue receivables, keeping credit recovery under control;
• Suppliers & External Advisors: Manage relationships with suppliers and external consultants supporting the company;
• Reporting & Analysis: Build reports, analyse financial data and prepare presentations and data visualisation tools to support decision-making;
• Join a growing, international company and contribute to a function that is key to its financial health;
• Work in close contact with different teams and external partners, gaining a broad view of the business;

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting, administrative or finance role;
• Knowledge of accounting principles and of invoicing, collections and credit management processes;
• Good command of Excel and the main office tools; experience with data analysis and reporting/presentation tools;
• Written English (at least);
• Precision, attention to detail and respect for deadlines;
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

• RAL: €25.000 up to €30.000 (commensurate with experience);
• Meal vouchers: €5,29 per day, for days worked in the office;

This role operates in a hybrid work model, combining on-site presence and smart working.
