Job summary

Hilton seeks a Specialist Sales Support professional in Italy to develop and expand existing MICE accounts while building strong relationships with current and prospective customers across seven Hilton hotels in Italy.

You will partner with hotel teams and Hilton Worldwide Sales to identify, support and convert inbound MICE opportunities, while driving business from selected international markets and contributing to sales targets.

Qualifications

• Native Italian and fluent English.
• Proven sales experience in the MICE segment.
• Established portfolio of international MICE accounts and industry contacts.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage national and international MICE agencies, DMCs, event planners and corporate accounts.
• Identify customer needs and maximize sales opportunities and conversions.
• Acquire new customers through industry events, networking and prospecting activities.
• Understand market conditions and the competitive landscape within each destination.
• Identify market trends and emerging opportunities within the MICE industry.
• Collaborate with hotel teams to increase sales, revenue and conversion.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand business needs.
• Arrange site inspections with hotel sales teams and organize customer events as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced commercial environment.
• Focus on developing emerging vertical markets and new business opportunities within MICE.
