Kids&Us in Messina is seeking an energetic English Teacher/Academic Coordinator to join our team. The role blends teaching and coordinating academic processes to support students aged 1 to 18 years old.

You will prepare lessons using our methods, monitor progress, and build meaningful relationships with students and families while assisting the director with teaching and admin tasks. The position is 18 hours per week (12 teaching/coordinator, 6 teaching) with a fixed term until 31/12/2026;

As Our Teacher You’ll Learn To

• Prepare your classes using Kids&Us' lessons, music, games, stories and arts and crafts.
• Monitor your students’ progress and guide learners towards their goals.
• Develop strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and your peers and mentors to support the growth of the children.
• Communicate in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.

As a Coordinator You’ll Have To

• Supervise academic processes following Kids&Us policies and method
• Support the director in teaching and administrative activities of the school

Requirements

• Teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
• Advanced or Proficiency level in English (C1 or higher)
• Have a Certificate of Carichi Pendenti with no previous record.
• Interest in working with children
• Planning and organisation skills
• A team player: if you've played on a team, you'll fit right in!

We Offer

• Fixed-term until 31/12/2026;
• 12 hours per week as a coordinator and 6 hours per week as a teacher (in total 18 h per week);
• Young and stimulating work environment;
• Start in September 2026;
• Salary: We offer a salary aligned with CCNL ANINSEI.

As this is a hybrid role combining teaching and academic coordination, the contractual level (Level 5 or Level 8A) will be defined based on the prevailing responsibilities.

The gross annual salary (full-time equivalent) starts from €20,665 to €22,017 and will be proportionally adjusted based on the agreed working hours.
