Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.
Purpose of the position: As 2nd Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor, you will be part of the Asset Base Service, supporting the safe and efficient execution of offshore construction activities during your assigned shift. You will assist the Offshore Construction Supervisor in coordinating vessel operations, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, project requirements, and operational procedures while contributing to the successful delivery of offshore campaigns.
Contribute to shift handovers, daily reporting, toolbox talks, and operational planning to ensure effective communication and execution.
Education: Preferably with technical High School Diploma or civil, mechanical, electrical or naval engineering background
Background: Minimum 3 years of experience in marine operations, subsea installation, or vessel operations, with previous exposure to supervisory or lead positions.
The position is offshore‑based and operates on a rotational schedule. Worldwide assignments and international travel is required depending on project and vessel operational needs. Availability to work in multicultural environments and challenging offshore conditions is essential.
