Job summary

Havells in Mumbai seeks a Training Manager to lead a team of trainers across the zone, oversee the delivery of training programs, and ensure alignment with management requirements.

You will conduct classroom and virtual sessions for branch trainers and sales advisors, continuously update product knowledge, and train on sales techniques and customer engagement strategies. You will monitor performance and maintain comprehensive training reports.

Responsibilities

• Weekly monitoring of trainer and sales staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Maintain records of trainer mapping, training activities, attendance, and reports; generate management reports.
• Regular connect with branch heads and product heads for planning CRT/VILT and refresher training.

Job description

• Team Management: Manage a team of trainers or training coordinators within the zone. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the effective delivery of training programs as per management requirement.
• Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions for branch trainers and sales advisors within the assigned zone. This may involve both classroom- training sessions as well as virtual training sessions.
• Product Knowledge Enhancement: Continuously update and enhance the product knowledge of Trainers, and other stakeholders by providing them with the latest information about products, products refreshers, new product launches, finance schemes, and incentive schemes.
• Sales Techniques and Strategies: Train the trainers, sales staff on effective selling techniques, needs identification skills, objection handling, and customer engagement strategies.
• Market Sensing: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products comparison, competitor communication & USP within the assigned zone. Use this information to tailor training programs and strategies to better meet the needs of the target market.
• Performance Evaluation: Weekly monitor and review the performance of the trainers and sales staff within the assigned zone and provide feedback to identify areas for improvement to trainers. Track training effectiveness, planning and execution and do adjustments to training programs as needed.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of trainers mapping, monthly training activities (CRT/VILT & OJT), training attendance (CRT/VILT & OJT), OJT feedback, monthly trainers market visits and monthly trainers check-in~ check-out reports. Generate reports on training effectiveness, and market trends for management review.
• Branch Connect: Regular connect with branch heads and product heads for CRT/VILT planning and focused product of the month, TTT's planning, and refresher training planning.
