Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in QSR / Retail / F&B operations.
• Experience managing multiple stores or clusters preferred.
• Prior experience leading Store Managers / Area Managers is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• High ownership and execution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all assigned stores.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and brand standards.
• Conduct regular store visits and operational reviews.
• Monitor store audit scores and compliance standards.
• Lead manpower planning, roster management, and attrition control.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and key KPIs across the cluster.
• Mentor Store Managers and store teams; develop succession plans.
• Maintain exceptional customer experience and consistency in service.
• Coordinate with HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Training, and Marketing.
• Support new store launches and expansion initiatives.

Job description

The Zonal Manager will be responsible for managing a cluster of stores within an assigned geography, ensuring operational excellence, people development, customer satisfaction, and achievement of business targets.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can coach teams, drive accountability, solve operational challenges, and ensure stores consistently deliver strong business performance and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all assigned stores.
• Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, operational processes, hygiene, food safety, and brand standards.
• Conduct regular store visits and operational reviews.
• Monitor and improve store audit scores and compliance standards.
• Ensure smooth opening, closing, staffing, and shift operations across stores.

2. Business & Revenue Performance

• Drive sales growth and profitability across the assigned cluster.
• Monitor key business KPIs including sales, productivity, average bill value, conversion, wastage, customer complaints, and store profitability.
• Identify business gaps and execute action plans to improve performance.
• Support and execute local store marketing initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Store Managers and store teams.
• Build a strong performance-driven and customer-focused culture.
• Ensure manpower planning, roster management, and attrition control.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training.
• Identify high-potential team members and build succession pipelines.

4. Customer Experience

• Ensure exceptional customer experience standards across all stores.
• Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Drive consistency in product quality, speed of service, and hospitality.

5. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with company policies, FSSAI guidelines, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular operational, hygiene, and safety audits.
• Ensure proper inventory management and control mechanisms.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Training, and Marketing teams.
• Ensure timely reporting, MIS submissions, and issue escalations.
• Support new store launches, stabilisation, and operational expansion initiatives.
