Job summary

Acumen 360 Consulting & HR Solutions seeks a Waste Water Treatment Plant operator to analyze water samples and oversee maintenance coordination at the WWTP. You will monitor plant streams, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with site policies and statutory requirements.

The role involves data reporting to environmental agencies, safety awareness, and hands-on operation of treatment equipment with involvement in shutdowns and restorations.

Qualifications

• Safety awareness essential for site operations.
• Experience with WWTP operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interact with maintenance for shutdowns and prep work.
• Familiarity with equipment monitoring and data logging.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of waste water samples and treated water samples.
• Coordinate breakdown maintenance at WWTP with service department.
• Documentation and record-keeping as per site policies and statutory requirements.
• Monitoring wastewater plant streams and maintaining records.
• Maintain operational records and chemical consumption in logbook.
• Coordinate with external environmental monitoring agencies and compile data/reports.
• Carry out workplace and noise monitoring at regular frequencies and maintain records.
• Safety awareness and WWTP operation & troubleshooting.
• Operate WWTP parameter monitoring equipment and liaise with Maintenance to prepare/return equipment to operation.

Job description

Analysis of waste water samples, treated water samples.
Attending break down maintenance at WWTP (Coordination with concerned service department)
Documentation and record keeping as per site policies and statutory requirement.
Monitoring & analysis of different plant Streams waste water & record keeping.
Maintain operational records, chemical consumption monitoring on day to day base in logbook.

To coordinate with external Environment monitoring agency and compile data / report
To carry out workplace monitoring & Noise monitoring at regular frequency at different place &
maintain its record.
Documentation of environmental data as per site standard practices.
Maintain monitoring frequency at regular interval to compliance of legal requirements.

Safety awareness
WWTP operation & Troubleshooting
Operation of WWTP parameters monitoring and measurement equipment’s
Interaction with Maintenance Department to shutdown/prepare the equipment for maintenance work
and return it back to operating condition.
Computer basic skill for MS office will be preferred.
