Job summary

Pocket FM is seeking a highly creative Writer with a strong understanding of micro-drama, short-form, and promo storytelling. A filmmaking background and hands-on exposure to Generative AI tools are essential to craft AI-friendly scripts and visually compelling stories.

You will develop promos, evaluate AI-generated outputs for quality and continuity, and collaborate across teams to take ideas from script to final promo asset.

We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Writer with a strong understanding of micro-drama, short-form, and promo storytelling to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a filmmaking background with a strong eye for visual storytelling, continuity, and narrative flow, along with hands-on exposure to Generative AI tools for image and video creation. You will be responsible for developing engaging, AI-friendly scripts and translating creative ideas into visually compelling stories and promo assets. Beyond writing, you should have strong visual judgement to assess AI-generated outputs for quality, consistency, and story logic, and a creative producer mindset to take an idea from script → visual execution → final promo asset.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Write and develop, promos, and story-driven scripts with strong hooks, pacing, and emotional beats.
• Create AI-friendly scripts and prompts that can be effectively translated into visuals.
• Evaluate AI-generated content for visual quality, character consistency, continuity, storytelling, and overall narrative logic.
• Collaborate with creative, writing, and production teams to take ideas from concept to final visual execution.
• Develop promo assets that are engaging, platform-friendly, and aligned with the story's core narrative.
