Job summary

Digitalnest seeks a dynamic Video Editor to join our growing content team in Hyderabad, India. You will transform raw footage into engaging, platform-optimized videos using AI-driven tools and collaborate with creative leads to realize scripts and storyboards.

You will apply color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to boost narrative impact, while repurposing content for short-form formats across social platforms. Strong pacing and timely delivery are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience in digital or multimedia environments.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve for editing, color grading, and audio mixing.
• Hands-on experience with AI video editing tools such as Descript, Runway ML, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Topaz Video AI, ElevenLabs or Murf.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw footage into polished, platform-ready videos with professional polish and precision.
• Utilize AI-powered editing tools to automate and enhance workflows such as auto-captioning, scene detection, color grading, and noise reduction.
• Partner with creative directors, content strategists, and motion designers to execute scripts and storyboards with visual impact.
• Apply motion graphics, transitions, sound design, and color correction to elevate narrative clarity and audience engagement.
• Repurpose long-form content into concise, high-performing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
• Maintain organized project structures, asset libraries, and version control for collaboration and scalability.
• Proactively monitor advancements in AI video generation and post-production trends to optimize workflows.
• Deliver high-quality video content on tight deadlines, balancing speed, creativity, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize AI-powered editing tools—including Runway ML, CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Descript, and Topaz Video AI—to automate and enhance workflows such as auto-captioning, scene detection, color grading, and noise reduction
  
• Partner closely with creative directors, content strategists, and motion designers to execute scripts and storyboards with visual impact

Requirements

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience in digital or multimedia environments
  
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve for editing, color grading, and audio mixing
  
• Hands-on experience with 2–3 AI video editing tools such as:
  • Descript (AI transcription and editing)
    
  • Runway ML (AI video generation and compositing)
    
  • CapCut / CapCut AI (short-form content production)
    
  • Adobe Firefly / Sensei (AI-assisted visual effects)
    
  • Topaz Video AI (upscaling and enhancement)
    
  • ElevenLabs / Murf (AI voiceover integration)
    
• Solid understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, audio mixing, and color grading principles
  
• Knowledge of platform-specific video specifications, including aspect ratios, resolutions, and format requirements
  
• Basic proficiency in motion graphics (experience with After Effects is a strong advantage)
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret and implement creative direction effectively
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with advanced AI video generation platforms such as Sora, Pika Labs, or Kling
  
• Proven background in short-form content creation or social media video production
  
• Familiarity with prompt engineering for AI-driven visual generation
  
• Prior experience in an agency or fast-paced content studio environment
