Job summary

Pocket FM, a leading audio-series platform, seeks a Creative Producer to shepherd stories from concept to final production. You’ll lead writers’ rooms and oversee end-to-end production, ensuring high-quality, engaging narratives across formats.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in microdramas/OTT or related fields, strong scripting, and a track record of delivering across development, production, and post-production. Generative AI tools familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in microdramas, OTT, TV, film, audio, or other narrative content production.
• Strong experience in running writers’ rooms, story development, and scriptwriting.
• Experience taking shows/projects through end-to-end production, from concept to final delivery.
• Strong understanding of high-retention storytelling, character arcs, pacing, hooks, and episodic narratives.
• Exposure to generative AI tools and an openness to experimenting with new creative workflows.
• A portfolio/showreel demonstrating writing, storytelling, and production work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage writers’ rooms, driving story development, episode planning, writing quality, and creative consistency
• Own the end-to-end creative production of shows, from concept and story development through scripting, production, and post-production

• Collaborate with writers, producers, editors, sound teams, and creative stakeholders to take projects from idea to final delivery
• Conceptualize and script promos, short-form ads, and marketing creatives that capture the essence of a story and drive engagement
• Work closely with post-production teams on editing, sound design, pacing, and overall creative quality
• Manage creative timelines and ensure projects are delivered with the expected quality and consistency
• Explore and leverage generative AI tools to enhance storytelling, ideation, production, and creative output

About the Role:

We are looking for a Creative Producer who can take a story from concept to final production. This role combines strong writing and storytelling skills with hands-on experience in running writers’ rooms, managing creative teams, and driving end-to-end show production.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in microdramas, OTT, TV, film, audio, or other narrative content production
• Prior experience working on microdramas or short-form fiction is strongly preferred
• Strong experience in running writers’ rooms, story development, and scriptwriting
• Proven experience taking shows/projects through end-to-end production, from concept to final delivery
• Strong understanding of high-retention storytelling, character arcs, pacing, hooks, and episodic narratives
• Experience managing and collaborating with writers, editors, producers, and other creative stakeholders
• Hands-on understanding of post-production workflows, including editing and sound; VFX knowledge is a plus
• Exposure to shoot planning and execution is a plus
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and an openness to experimenting with new creative workflows
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating writing, storytelling, and production work
