Job Description
We are looking for a Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence (Leave Module) to support end-to-end implementation and support activities across client environments. The consultant will work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to configure, test, and deploy HCM solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Gather business requirements and translate them into functional system configurations related to Benefits, Time Tracking, and Leave/Absence modules.
Configure benefits plans, eligibility rules, and enrollment processes as per statutory and organizational requirements.
Design and implement time tracking solutions including time entry rules, validations, and approval workflows.
Manage leave/absence policies including accruals, carryovers, balances, and compliance with regional regulations.
Perform functional testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide go-live and post-go-live support.
Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, and training material as required.
Collaborate with technical and integration teams for data mapping and system interfaces.
Required Skills
2 -4 years of relevant functional experience in Benefits, Time Tracking, and
Absence/Leave modules on HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP
Strong understanding of HR and Payroll business processes and compliance
requirements.
Hands-on configuration experience in time entry rules, leave eligibility/accruals, and
Ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into system solutions.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and
Effective communication and documentation skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
High attention to detail and organizational ability to support fast-paced project environments.
Workday Certification is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on global or multi-location HCM projects.
Exposure to integrations with payroll and third-party systems.
Experience with testing tools like JIRA, ALM, or equivalent.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field.
