Job summary

Agilysis is seeking a Workday Extend developer to join our growing team and build next-generation applications on the Workday platform.

You will partner with clients to understand requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and support Extend applications across multiple engagements while collaborating with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical development experience with at least 3+ years in Workday Extend.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Web Services, REST APIs and Orchestration.
• Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, or Financials.
• Understanding of business process framework, calculated fields, custom reports, and security configurations.
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party platforms and enterprise applications.
• Prior consulting experience supporting multiple clients and projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Workday Extend Certification is a big plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, user-friendly applications that enhance and extend Workday functionality to meet client-specific business needs.
• Support and maintain existing Workday Extend applications by troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and delivering new functionality.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to define solution approaches and ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive solution design discussions and provide recommendations aligned with Workday platform capabilities, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

• Work collaboratively across consulting, functional, and technical teams to deliver successful outcomes and take ownership of project results.
