Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient gynecology team at Carmel Gynecology VIP in Carmel, IN. This full-time role offers 4x10-hour days or 5x8-hour days with CME allowance and tail coverage.

You will provide routine and complex women’s health care across Carmel and Fishers, managing ~20 patients per day with Athena EMR in a physician-led, nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Indiana NP prescriptive authority credentialed within 6 months of hire date.
• RN license from Indiana Board of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gynecology care across Carmel and Fishers.
• Manage routine and complex women’s health conditions.
• Deliver comprehensive wellness exams, preventive screenings, and contraceptive counseling.
• Utilize Athena EMR within a physician-led, nonprofit health system.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join an established team of 1 physician and 2 APPs
• Call structure: No Call
• Practice setting: Outpatient gynecology care across Carmel and Fishers, managing approximately 20 patients per day
• Access to 6 dedicated exam rooms and modern practice technology with Athena EMR
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Drive clinical excellence by managing both routine and complex outpatient women's health conditions across diverse patient populations
• Enhance patient care access through comprehensive wellness exams, preventive screenings (Pap, HPV, breast cancer), STI screenings, and tailored contraceptive counseling
• The office focuses solely on gynecology and does not support OB.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
