Job summary

Wit Hunt in Pune is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design machine concepts, validate calculations, and guide design processes with cross-functional teams in manufacturing. You will prepare technical offers and support ERP-driven project planning and costing.

Qualifications include BE Mechanical, SolidWorks certification, and willingness to travel. You will interact with customers for technical information and drive post-release modifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design machine concepts and align work processes to team load.
• Perform design calculations and validate overall design.
• Discuss and resolve design shortfalls.
• Guide and maintain operation manuals and failure analyses.
• Plan and coordinate work in the design department.
• Solve manufacturing problems and implement post-release changes.
• Interact with customers to address queries.
• Obtain Design Approval from customers.
• Prepare technical offers for new projects and contact clients for project design and information.
• Plan projects in ERP and validate ERP inputs.
• Estimate project costs for proposals.

Job of Responsibilities

• Designing the concept of machine & aligning the work process as per team load.
• Design calculation & overall design validation
• Discussing and Finding solution for any shortfall.
• Guiding and Maintaining Operation manuals and failure analyses reports.
• Planning and aligning the work in the Design department.
• Solving manufacturing problems and post release modifications.
• Customer interaction for queries
• DAP from customer
• Preparation of technical offers for new projects. Contact with the
• clients for project design and technical information.
• Project planning in ERP and validation of ERP inputs.
• Project costing and estimated costing for project and proposal.

Educational Qualification: BE Mechanical

Specific certification (if any): Solid works
