Job summary

Fowler Westrup is seeking a design specialist to work on machine and sheet metal design tasks in our Bengaluru/Maluru area. The role focuses on applying standard design practices to develop components and assemblies.

Responsibilities include handling 3D CAD work, dimensioning, tolerances, GD&T, and BOM creation, with exposure to Inventor and related data management tools considered a plus.

Role & responsibilities

1. 1. Experience in machine design, sheet metal design with good understanding of basics designs departmental activities.
2. 2. Exposure of Dimensioning, Tolerances, GD&T.
3. 3. Knowledge to machine components e.g. pneumatic, motor, gear will be an added advantage.
4. 4. Exposure of 3D CAD tools, Inventor professional will be an added advantage.
5. 5. Exposure Inventor Vault Data Base management will be an added advantage.
6. 6. Exposure of manufacturing activities like machining, drilling, welding, grinding, bending, etc.
7. 7. Exposure of machine assembly activities & processes.
8. 8. Exposure of making 3D parts, assembly modelling & 2D manufacturing drawings with complete BOM.
9. 9. He should be self-motivated & self-driven & good learner.
