Wit Hunt in Pune region is seeking a materials handler with SAP MM proficiency to manage receipt, storage, and issue of materials, ensuring ISO and OHSAS compliance and 5S in stores. You will coordinate with multiple functions, perform inventory reporting, and support packing and dispatch activities.

Strong knowledge of QMS/EMS/OHSAS and MS Office is required, with attention to safe handling and accurate documentation for accounts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QMS / EMS / OHSAS is required.
• Proficiency with SAP MM module for materials management.

JOB PURPOSE:

Receiving, storing and issuing of materials required for smooth production and other supportfunctions

Knowledge of QMS / EMS / OHSAS SAP – MM Module

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Receipt of material – physical receipt and Make entry in system (on same day)
• Proper Storage and preservation of the material
• Issues Material – physical and system
• Ensure compliance to ISO and OHSAS procedures for storage and preservation of materials
• Maintains 5 S and Visual Workplace in Stores Areas
• Co-ordinates with other functions
• Prepares list of non-moving and slow-moving items
• Takes Monthly, Half yearly and annual inventory and make reports
• Send documents to accounts for making payments
• Ensure safe handling of materials

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports Packing and Dispatch Function

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Ensures safe handling and disposal of hazardous material

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS:

INTERNAL

• Purchase – PO, packing material, receipt
• PPC – FIR, priority, special requirements.
• Manuf- FIR, material
• QA- FIR, 105 movements in SAP, quality clearance for dispatch material.
• P&P- PO for project material, imports, dispatch and logistic.
• Accounts- Documents for payment, inventory, excise.

EXTERNAL AUTHORITIES:

• Receipt of Material (103) and Material Issue (311) in SAP
