Job summary

Renew is seeking a Materials/Inventory Coordinator to handle receipt of inbound materials, proper storage, and traceability within the store. You will oversee inventory levels, aging reports, and liquidation of non-moving or hazardous stock while ensuring safety and compliance with 5S practices.

The role requires familiarity with SAP MM and ERP systems, with emphasis on timely production support and strict control of FIFO and stock audits. Prior exposure to hazardous materials handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of finished goods handling and stock control.
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP for material management.
• Understanding of inventory w/r/t shelf life and non-moving stock.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound materials and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain health, safety and security standards for hazardous materials.
• Monitor inventory to ensure timely issuance to production and liquidation of scrap.

Job description

Job Purpose:

Assist in timely receipt of all incoming material, inward inspection, proper storage and preservation, Identification and traceability, Inventory management, accounting and issuing the materials to production on time as per the requirements. Liquidation of scarp & hazardous material as per defined guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Must be aware of finished goods process.
• Knowledge of MOOWR is preferable.
• Must be aware of Proper storage and preservation/ Identification and traceability of the materials.
• Maintaining standards of health, safety and security of the working environment, For example chemical & hazardous materials are stored safely.
• Must be aware of material issues process to production/end user against reservation. Monitoring of shelf life material & must be liquidate before expired.
• Must be aware of preparation ageing report to liquidation the on Non-moving inventory through PPC department. Explore ERP/SAP for material management.
• Explore the ISO/EMS/EHS and OHSAS. Man Management controls. Must be aware of uses of PPEs. Must be aware of Safety & 5S implementation of respective work place. Control on the FIFO to be followed while issuing the material from stores.
• Must be aware of inventory control techniques.
• Control on the material handling equipment and optimize storage place.
• Must be aware of liquidation of valuated scarp & hazardous material as per defined guidelines. Must be aware of perpetual inventory/stock audit, write-off the inventory stock if any deviation with proper approval. Preparation of stores MIS report receipt vs issues. Mandatory knowledge of SAP MM module.
