Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee store warehouse operations for Pantaloons. You will ensure accurate stock handling, audits, and timely replenishment, driving sales performance and operational excellence.

As an Executive/Sr Executive in Operations, you will manage inbound/outbound processes, lead a small team, and maintain Platinum Warehouse Standards while controlling shrinkage and ensuring customer order support.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with data orientation and inventory control.
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced retail/store environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely replenishment of stock to the shop floor to support sales targets.
• Coordinate with Department Managers to prioritize stock movement for high-demand categories.
• Support OMNI fulfillment by ensuring accuracy and timeliness of picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Drive Platinum Warehouse Standards through audits and process improvements.
• Maintain stockroom hygiene, safety, and accessibility for smooth operations.
• Oversee inward and outward stock processes with regular cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Lead warehouse assistants, conduct meetings, and manage training and attrition.

Store house Maintenance

• Drive Platinum Warehouse Standard compliance through structured audits and action plans.
• Maintain high standards of stockroom hygiene, accessibility, and safety to ensure smooth customer-facing operations.
• Support customer orders, exchanges, and replenishments through accurate inventory control.
• Minimize stock-outs to improve customer satisfaction and avoid lost sales opportunities.

Inventory management

• Oversee all inward and outward stock processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SOPs.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure 100% stock accuracy.
• Monitor and reduce shrinkage, damages, and pilferage through preventive controls.
• Track and resolve GRIR/MIRO pendency issues in coordination with finance and SCM.
• Maintain and review inventory data for accuracy, sufficiency, and compliance.

Process excellence

• Analyze exception reports and implement corrective measures for process gaps.
• Ensure timely documentation of stock inward/outward, adjustments, and returns.
• Regularly review and improve operational efficiency through lean practices and automation.

People Management

• Lead, train, and mentor warehouse assistants to improve efficiency and reduce attrition.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review targets, challenges, and safety protocols.
• Monitor team discipline, punctuality, and adherence to operational standards.
• Identify training needs and conduct skill development sessions for warehouse staff.
