Job summary

CenturyPly in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead to manage daily warehouse activities, ensure FIFO, maximize space, and uphold 5S and safety standards.

You will drive SAP-based inventory control, perform GRN, stock transfers, and cycle counts, supervise staff, train on SAP and SOPs, and monitor KPIs like OTIF and accuracy to ensure audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP MM knowledge with inventory management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel including Pivot, VLOOKUP, MIS reports.
• Solid understanding of warehouse processes and inventory control.
• Experience in leading teams and coordinating operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse functions including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, and dispatch.
• Ensure optimal space utilization, FIFO, and high housekeeping (5S).
• Monitor material movement and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Perform SAP transactions (GRN, stock transfer, delivery creation, inventory updates, reports).
• Ensure 100% accuracy between physical stock and SAP.
• Conduct daily/weekly cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Maintain SAP documentation for audits and compliance.
• Plan dispatches with sales and coordinate with transporters.
• Ensure correct documentation (invoice, e-way bill, delivery challan).
• Supervise unloading/loading activities ensuring correct quantities and safety.
• Supervise warehouse staff and allocate tasks.
• Train team on SAP transactions, safety, SOPs.
• Monitor KPIs: picking accuracy, OTIF, inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Inspect MHEs (forklifts, pallet jacks) and enforce PPE usage.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

Team & Process Management

• Supervise warehouse staff and allocate tasks.
• Train team on SAP transactions, safety practices, and SOP adherence.
• Monitor performance KPIs: picking accuracy, OTIF, inventory accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Inspect MHEs (forklifts, pallet jacks) and enforce PPE usage.
• Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.

Skills & Competencies
