Job summary

Innomech Aerospace Toolings is seeking a Welding Quality Specialist to ensure conformance to welding symbols and standards, prepare WPS/PQR/WPQ, and interpret welding drawings with GD&T. You will supervise RCCA, welding safety, material qualifications, and welder qualifications while coordinating UT/MT/PT testing as required.

Familiarity with TIG, MIG, SMAW and FCAW processes is essential to maintain aerospace-grade weld quality and compliance with AWS and ASME codes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding symbols and relevant standards.
• Experience with AWS D1.1, AWS D1.2 and ASME Sec IX.
• Experience preparing WPS, PQR and WPQ.
• Ability to interpret welding drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding drawings and dimensions.
• Oversee RCCA and welding defect remediation.
• Ensure welding safety and use of fixtures.
• Verify materials and filler metals compliance.
• Ensure welder qualification and process controls.
• Apply UT/MT/PT testing as required.
