Job summary

Ultraviolette Automotive Private Limited is seeking a Warranty Operations specialist to manage the end-to-end handling of warranty parts from service centres and field operations.

You will ensure accurate documentation, ERP/DMS entries, and timely communications with CQA for approvals. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with service, quality, CRM, R&D, and production to close cases efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 3-5 years of warranty operations, service operations, or parts management experience.
• Strong understanding of EV/automotive components and failure modes.
• Proficient in ERP/DMS workflows and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and tag all warranty-returned parts from service centres and field operations.
• Check the condition, completeness, and correctness of warranty claims.
• Identify and address transit-related issues such as damaged or missing parts.
• Maintain organised storage of warranty parts with 5S and traceability standards.
• Ensure accurate ERP and DMS entries for all warranty transactions.
• Coordinate with CQA for warranty approval decisions and provide required claim details.
• Manage scrapping of failed warranty parts after formal CQA/Quality approval.
• Follow up with Dealers on pending, delayed, or non-compliant warranty parts.
• Issue replacement parts to dealers or service teams as per approved processes.
• Maintain MIS for warranty part status, claim closures, and debit notes issued to dealers.
• Track and update data on supplier debits processed by CQA/SQA teams.
• Collaborate with Service, Quality, CRM, R&D, and Production to support quick closure of warranty cases.

• Check the physical condition, completeness, and correctness of all incoming warranty claims.
• Identify and address transit-related issues such as damaged, missing, or improperly packed parts.
• Maintain organised storage of warranty parts with strict 5S and traceability standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely ERP and DMS entries for all warranty transactions.
• Coordinate with CQA for warranty approval decisions and provide required claim details. Manage scrapping of failed warranty parts after receiving formal CQA/Quality approval. Follow up with Dealers on pending, delayed, or non-compliant warranty parts.
