Job summary

Ultraviolette Automotive Private Limited is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector focused on CMM-based dimensional inspection for EV components. You will interpret GD&T, verify dimensions, and generate inspection reports to ensure part conformance.

The role requires experience with CMM software and a strong understanding of GD&T and drawings, with exposure to high-volume EV assembly environments. Collaborative cross-functional work is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have worked in high volume EV assembly plants, with exposure to advanced manufacturing processes.
• Must be capable of handling complete incoming quality related to the Vehicle & battery Line.
• Fundamental knowledge of Electric vehicles and associated experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of CMM operation and dimensional inspection is essential.
• Experience with CMM software PC-DMIS/Calypso/MCOSMOS or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM for dimensional inspection of precision components.
• Prepare and execute CMM inspection programs as per drawings and inspection requirements.
• Perform first-off, in-process, and final dimensional inspections.
• Measure GD&T characteristics including position, profile, flatness, parallelism, perpendicularity, concentricity, runout.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T symbols, tolerances, and specifications.
• Generate and maintain CMM inspection reports.
• Identify dimensional deviations and communicate issues to relevant departments.
• Support calibration and preventive maintenance of CMM equipment.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of data.
• Inspect incoming materials, components, and machined parts against drawings and purchase requirements.

• Verify dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other measuring instruments.
  
• Check material certificates, test certificates, and supplier documentation where applicable.
