Job summary

Ghar Soaps in India seeks an experienced All-India Warehouse Manager – 3PL to lead and optimize warehousing operations across 20+ locations, coordinating with multiple 3PL partners to ensure high service levels and inventory accuracy.

You will own inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns; drive process standardisation, cost control, automation initiatives, MIS reporting, and performance reviews, while building a high-performance team across Pan-India sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Strong experience managing Pan-India warehouse networks.
• Proven experience managing multiple 3PL warehouse partners.
• Experience managing 15–20+ warehouses / distribution centres will be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of WMS, inventory management, and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse operations across 20+ locations pan India through 3PL partners.
• Ensure smooth functioning of all warehouses in line with SOPs, standards, and SLAs.
• Drive standardisation of warehouse processes across all locations.
• Monitor inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and reverse logistics.
• Ensure warehouses are adequately equipped to handle volumes and seasonal demand.
• Manage relationships and performance of multiple 3PL warehouse partners across India.
• Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, productivity, turnaround time, service levels, and costs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with 3PL partners and drive corrective actions.
• Identify operational gaps and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Negotiate and manage 3PL terms, costs, and contracts with relevant teams.
• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and stock integrity across all warehouses.
• Monitor cycle counts, stock audits, damages, losses, and ageing inventory.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and technology adoption.
• Own warehouse operating costs and manage budgets.
• Lead central and site warehouse teams; coordinate with 3PLs and stakeholders.
• Set KPIs, drive accountability, and build a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and monitor warehouse MIS dashboards and performance reports.

The role will be responsible for overseeing 20 or more warehouses across multiple locations, managed through 3PL partners. The candidate will own warehouse performance, operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, cost control, service levels, and 3PL partner management across the network.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Pan-India warehouse operations, 3PL management, multi-location operations, inventory control, warehouse processes, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities

Pan-India Warehouse Operations

• Lead and manage warehouse operations across 20+ locations pan India through 3PL partners.
• Ensure smooth functioning of all warehouses in line with company SOPs, operational standards, and service-level agreements.
• Drive standardisation of warehouse processes across all locations.
• Monitor inbound, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, returns, and reverse logistics operations.
• Ensure warehouses are adequately equipped to handle business volumes and seasonal demand.

3PL Partner Management

• Manage relationships and performance of multiple 3PL warehouse partners across India.
• Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, productivity, turnaround time, service levels, and cost parameters.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with 3PL partners and drive corrective actions.
• Identify operational gaps and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Negotiate and manage 3PL commercial terms, operational costs, and contracts in coordination with relevant. teams.

Inventory & Operational Excellence

• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and stock integrity across all warehouses.
• Monitor cycle counts, physical stock audits, stock reconciliation, damages, losses, and ageing inventory.
• Reduce inventory discrepancies, operational losses, damages, and warehouse inefficiencies.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and technology adoption across warehouse operations.
• Implement best practices to improve warehouse productivity and throughput.

Cost & Productivity Management

• Own warehouse operating costs across the Pan-India network.
• Monitor fixed and variable warehouse costs and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Track manpower productivity, storage utilisation, handling costs, and other operational expenses.
• Ensure operations are managed within approved budgets.
• Lead and manage the central warehouse team and coordinate with warehouse teams across locations.
• Work closely with 3PL teams, warehouse managers, supervisors, and other operational stakeholders.
• Set performance expectations, review KPIs, and drive accountability across the network.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on operational excellence and service quality.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct regular warehouse audits and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of products, particularly FMCG / Beauty & Personal Care products.
• Drive implementation of safety, security, hygiene, and loss-prevention measures.

MIS & Reporting

• Develop and monitor regular warehouse performance dashboards and MIS.
• Track inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, OTIF, warehouse productivity, dispatch TAT, storage utilisation, picking & packing accuracy, damage and shrinkage, 3PL cost per unit/order, and warehouse operating cost.
• Present performance reviews and actionable insights to senior management.
