Job summary

Janani Mithra Co-operative is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for its centralized medicine warehouse in Kerala. You will oversee day-to-day pharmaceutical operations, ensure proper receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of medicines, and maintain accurate inventory with FEFO/FIFO controls.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in pharmacy warehouse roles, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/POS systems.

Qualifications

  • Mandatory experience in Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operations.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of medicine inventory, batch numbers, expiry management and FEFO.
  • Experience handling a centralized warehouse supplying multiple pharmacy outlets will be highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of inventory/POS/ERP systems and MS Excel.
  • Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage high-volume medicine orders and ensure timely dispatch.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day pharmaceutical warehouse operations.
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of medicines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and stock availability.
  • Implement FEFO/FIFO stock management.
  • Closely monitor expiry, short-expiry, non-moving and damaged stocks.
  • Ensure medicines are stored according to required storage conditions and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate timely replenishment and supply of medicines to pharmacy outlets.
  • Supervise warehouse staff including billing, picking, packing and dispatch teams.
  • Conduct regular stock verification and support inventory audits.
  • Investigate and control stock shortages, excess stock and inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Accounts, Operations and Pharmacy Store teams.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with applicable drug licence and pharmaceutical storage requirements.
  • Improve warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy and order fulfilment efficiency.

Job description
