Job summary

California Burrito is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operations professional to manage end-to-end inbound, storage, and dispatch activities. You will drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across inventory, audits, and cross-functional coordination with Head Office.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in warehouse roles within FMCG/retail/QSR, strong Excel skills, and experience with WMS. A fast-paced environment awaits with strict SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• Hands-on experience managing Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory operations.
• Proven experience in leading warehouse teams and day-to-day activities.
• Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs: Inventory Accuracy, Fill Rate, and Compliance.
• Experience in inventory audits, cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards of operation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehouse inbound processes and receipt of materials per SOPs.
• Prepare and execute distribution plans for stores and ensure timely dispatch to meet KPIs.
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Achieve 100% fill rate and comply with service standards.
• Conduct audits and ensure hygiene, safety, and 5S compliance.
• Maintain records for inbound, outbound, inventory movements, wastage and damages.
• Train and monitor warehouse staff to follow SOPs and best practices.
• Coordinate with Head Office and Operations for daily requirements and priority dispatches.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements to efficiency and accuracy.
• Optimize warehouse space, locations, and inventory handling for organization and compliance.
• Lead warehouse personnel across Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory functions.
• Track indents, GRN misses, and late deliveries; notify Stores of issues.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This role will support end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring smooth inbound, storage, and dispatch processes in line with company standards. The role involves managing inventory accuracy, vendor coordination, and compliance with hygiene and safety norms. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG, Retail, QSR, or E-commerce.
• Hands-on experience managing Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory operations in a warehouse environment.
• Proven experience in leading warehouse teams and managing day-to-day warehouse activities.
• Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs such as Inventory Accuracy, Fill Rate and Warehouse Compliance.
• Experience in conducting inventory audits, cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and implementing corrective actions.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of operational excellence and process compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the end-to-end warehouse inbound process, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of materials in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Prepare and execute distribution plans for stores, ensuring timely dispatch of products while achieving KPIs.
• Take ownership of inventory management, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and adherence to inventory control processes.
• Ensure 100% fill rate, acheive operational KPIs, and complies with company-defined service standards.
• Conduct regular warehouse audits and ensure compliance with SOPs, statutory requirements, hygiene standards, safety protocols, and 5S practices.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for inbound, outbound, inventory movements, wastage, damages, and all warehouse registers.
• Train and monitor warehouse associates to ensure strict adherence to warehouse SOPs and operational best practices.
• Coordinate with the Head Office and Operations teams to execute day-to-day operational requirements, priority dispatches, and special business requests.
• Monitor warehouse performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and drive corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure proper utilization of warehouse space, storage locations, and inventory handling practices to maintain an organized and compliant warehouse.
• Lead and supervise warehouse personnel across Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory functions to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
• Monitoring the placing of indents daily within cut off time
• Keeping records for late indent, GRN missing, wrong GRN
• Checking the GRN for the past Purchase Orders
• Informing stores for any kind of GRN missing, late indent and short supplies
