Job summary

True North International in Bengaluru seeks a hands-on Warehouse Manager to run the facility end-to-end, owning inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, dispatch, returns, and billing with logistics partners. You will lead the floor team, ensure stock is accurate, available and shipped on time, and drive SOPs for safe, audit-ready operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: inbound, putaway, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Receive consignments, check against invoices and packing lists, raise GRNs and report variances
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and stock-takes
• Dispatch orders for marketplaces and B2B customers within SLA
• Plan replenishment loads and inbound appointments for marketplace warehouses
• Coordinate with courier partners, transporters and 3PLs
• Handle dispatch billing including invoices and e-way bills
• Collaborate with Accounts on stock reconciliation and month-end close
• Coordinate with assembly for material issue and finished goods receipt
• Lead and schedule warehouse team and plan manpower for peak events
• Create and enforce SOPs; ensure safety, organisation and audit-readiness
• Share daily dispatch/inventory updates and weekly KPI reports

Job description

We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to run our Bengaluru warehouse end to end. You will own inbound receiving, inventory accuracy, dispatch, returns, logistics partners and the billing that goes with them. You will lead the floor team and make sure stock is always accurate, available and shipped on time.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations: inbound, putaway, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Receive import and domestic consignments, check them against invoices and packing lists, raise GRNs and report shortages or damages the same day
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts, periodic stock-takes and quick closure of variances
• Dispatch orders for marketplaces, quick-commerce platforms and B2B customers within SLA
• Plan replenishment loads and inbound appointments for marketplace and quick-commerce warehouses
• Manage courier partners, transporters and 3PLs: pickup adherence, handover quality, delays and escalations
• Handle dispatch billing: invoices, delivery challans and e-way bills for every outbound movement
• Verify logistics and freight bills against actual shipments and flag discrepancies before payment
• Process returns (RTO and customer returns), grade stock as sellable, refurbishable or scrap, and reconcile with platform reports
• Work with the Accounts team on stock reconciliation, write-offs and month-end cut-off
• Coordinate with the assembly team on material issue and finished goods receipt
• Lead and schedule the warehouse team, including loaders, pickers and packers, and plan manpower for sale events
• Create and enforce SOPs, and keep the warehouse safe, organised and audit-ready
• Share daily dispatch and inventory updates and a weekly KPI report with management

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5 to 10 years of warehouse experience, with at least 3 years managing a warehouse and a team
• Experience in e-commerce, D2C, FMCG or consumer durables fulfilment
• Working knowledge of Unicommerce or another WMS/OMS, and an ERP such as Tally, Zoho or ERPNext
• Good understanding of GST invoicing, e-way bills and delivery challans
• Strong in inventory control: cycle counts, FIFO and bin management
• Comfortable with Excel for stock trackers, freight reconciliation and MIS
• Able to manage floor staff, set targets and handle peak-season pressure
• Working knowledge of English, Kannada and Hindi is an advantage

Good to Have

• Experience handling import consignments and customs-cleared stock
• Knowledge of marketplace FC and quick-commerce inbound processes
• Experience with electronics or appliances
• Exposure to warehouse safety and fire compliance
