Job summary

Way2testing in India seeks a Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching merchandise, while coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries and accurate stock.

You will optimize layout and storage systems, develop SOPs for warehouse operations, train and supervise staff, enforce safety protocols, collaborate with purchasing and sales to fulfill orders, and produce KPI reports to improve efficiency and reduce

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching merchandise.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and efficient inventory management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and conduct regular stock counts to reconcile discrepancies.
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and streamline workflow.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to fulfill orders and resolve inventory issues.
• Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rate, and warehouse productivity.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in warehouse management to continuously improve operations.
