Job summary

Heads Up For Tails is seeking a Warehouse Facility Manager to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations across all facilities. You will oversee utilities, equipment, safety, compliance, and vendor performance to support scalable growth.

You will lead facility teams, manage budgets, drive 5S and housekeeping, and implement cost-saving improvements while ensuring high uptime and strong MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse operations and facility management.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, 3PL, or distribution environments is preferred.
• Hands-on experience managing large warehouse facilities, outsourced manpower, and multiple service vendors.
• Strong knowledge of facility management, EHS compliance, vendor management, budgeting, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and operational analytics.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end warehouse facility operations, including civil, electrical, plumbing, DG sets, firefighting systems, lighting, and material handling equipment.
• Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance to maximize facility uptime.
• Monitor utility consumption, manage operational expenses, and maintain Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
• Drive compliance with EHS standards, labour laws, fire safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, emergency drills, and ensure adherence to 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Manage warehouse security operations, including access control, CCTV surveillance, and asset protection.
• Lead vendor and contractor management for housekeeping, security, maintenance, pest control, and outsourced manpower while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Supervise warehouse facility teams, prepare manpower plans and duty rosters, and conduct training on SOPs and safety practices.
• Prepare MIS reports, monitor facility performance, control budgets, and lead cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
