Job summary

Primum Talent seeks a proactive Warehouse Supervisor in Chennai to oversee loading/unloading of plates, ensure accurate inward checks, and coordinate timely dispatches. The role involves maintaining stock records, preparing warehouse documentation, and real-time MIS reporting.

You will manage daily warehouse activities, optimize space, ensure safety, and uphold compliance with company and statutory norms, while coordinating with sales/dispatch teams for orderly order execution.

Qualifications

• Supervise loading and unloading of Plates.
• Ensure proper checking of material during inward (quantity, quality, and documentation)
• Coordinate timely dispatch of materials as per delivery schedule
• Maintain accurate stock records (GRN, issue, transfer, and closing stock)
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to avoid damage
• Manage daily warehouse activities and ensure smooth operations
• Optimize space utilization and maintain proper layout of materials
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the warehouse
• Prepare and maintain all warehouse-related documents (GRN, delivery challans, invoices support)
• Update stock in IMS & Google Sheets on a real-time basis
• Share daily/weekly MIS reports with management
• Manage petty cash and maintain accurate expense records
• Coordinate with sales and dispatch teams for order execution
• Plan vehicle loading as per route and priority
• Liaise with transporters for timely vehicle placement
• Ensure safe handling of heavy steel materials
• Follow safety guidelines and use Safety equipment
• Maintain compliance with company and statutory norms
