The Warehouse Executive will oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods while maintaining accurate inventory records. This requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of warehouse management practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage receipt, inspection, and storage of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and storage conditions as per SOPs.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Perform regular stock verification and cycle counts.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and QA/QC teams for material requirements.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to production as per demand.
- Handle dispatch activities including packing, documentation, and shipment coordination.
- Maintain warehouse documentation such as GRNs, stock registers, and dispatch records.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor storage conditions such as temperature and humidity where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and good housekeeping in the warehouse.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices for inventory management.
- Coordinate with logistics and transport teams for smooth movement of goods.
- Handle discrepancies related to stock, damages, or shortages.
- Support audits and ensure audit readiness for warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous or sensitive materials.
- Maintain inventory of warehouse supplies and equipment.
- Use ERP systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Prepare reports related to stock movement, inventory levels, and dispatches.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
- Train and guide warehouse staff on SOPs and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all operations.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse management and smooth supply chain operations.
