Job summary

D Kumar Group is seeking a capable Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory control, material handling, and logistics coordination. The role requires experience in managing warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy of stock, and optimizing processes for efficiency.

The candidate will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate with suppliers, and implement WMS tools to improve reporting and traceability across inbound and outbound activities. This position involves on-site work at the Assam facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
• ERP NWay experience preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts.
• Oversee handling, storage, and movement of steel structures and components.
• Coordinate with production and logistics for inbound/outbound operations and timely dispatch.
• Implement warehouse layout and storage solutions to optimize space and workflow.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
• Lead and manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Maintain records of inventory transactions, receipts, dispatch logs, and stock reconciliation.
• Liaise with suppliers and transporters for efficient supply chain management.
• Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) to enhance tracking and reporting.
• Continuously review and improve warehouse operations to reduce costs.

• Inventory Management:
  Maintain accurate stock levels of raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts. Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and ensure timely replenishment.
• Material Handling:
  Oversee the proper handling, storage, and movement of steel structures and components to prevent damage.
• Logistics & Dispatch:
  Coordinate with production and logistics teams for smooth inbound and outbound operations, ensuring timely dispatch of materials.
• Warehouse Organization:
  Implement best practices in warehouse layout and storage solutions to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Safety Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse premises.
• Team Supervision:
  Lead and manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, conduct training, and monitor performance.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Maintain records of inventory transactions, material receipts, dispatch logs, and stock reconciliation.
• Vendor Coordination:
  Liaise with suppliers and transporters for efficient supply chain management.
• Technology Utilization:
  Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) to enhance tracking and reporting.
