Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai invites experienced End User Compute Engineer with 5–12 years of experience. The role involves building and managing End User Compute platforms, including MS Intune, Endpoint Manager, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop, with a focus on security and efficiency.

You will monitor user experience across devices, manage assets, and drive automation and maintenance strategies, collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Administrator/Engineer in an M365 Endpoint environment.
• Experience with Entra IDAM.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Modern Endpoint Management: Windows 11, Intune, AutoPilot, Enterprise Mobility, iOS and Android.
• Experience with VDI technologies, including Citrix Cloud and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience with advanced application packaging.
• M365 Administrator Certification (or working towards).
• Able to present ideas in business-friendly language to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement systems and services within the End User Compute pillar and help transition them into a stable run state.
• Administer and manage core End User Compute platforms: MS Intune, Endpoint Manager and other MDM/MAM platforms, plus Microsoft and Citrix Virtual Desktops.
• Build monitoring for end-user experience across print, PC, Mac, thin client, video conference, digital display and other IoT device hardware.
• Manage software and hardware assets, ensuring systems, solutions and policies are documented.
• Identify and implement optimisation and automation opportunities across End User Compute systems and operations.
• Analyse existing End User Compute systems and operations and develop preventative maintenance strategies.
• Provide support for solutions delivered through build and project work, working with vendors to resolve incidents when appropriate.
• Plan, schedule and monitor work to meet time and quality targets, and facilitate collaboration across End User Compute stakeholders.
• Implement applicable standards and promote security across the organisation.
