Job summary

UST in Ahmedabad is seeking a Senior EUC Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise end-user computing environments across on-premises and cloud.

You will own Citrix, AVD, Intune, SCCM/MECM, Windows 365, and Defender strategies; lead automation with PowerShell and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable digital workplaces.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on EUC or Workplace Infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and optimize EUC environments across on-premises and Azure.
• Deploy, configure, and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and related infrastructure.
• Design and manage Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PCs, and Azure VMs.
• Administer SCCM/MECM, Intune, and Ivanti AppSense for provisioning and patch management.
• Manage identity with Entra ID and AD; enforce security policies.
• Implement Defender security solutions and device compliance standards.
• Develop OS Deployment solutions, image management, and automation.
• Create PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex EUC issues; provide Level 3 support.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting modern end-user computing environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Windows 365, Ivanti AppSense, Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, PowerShell automation, and endpoint management technologies. As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing digital workplace solutions while driving automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the EUC landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and optimize enterprise End User Computing (EUC) environments across on-premises and Microsoft Azure.
• Deploy, configure, and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, including Citrix DaaS, XenApp, NetScaler (ADC), StoreFront, Director, and related infrastructure.
• Design and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365 Cloud PCs, and Azure Virtual Machines to deliver secure virtual desktop experiences.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Microsoft Intune, and Ivanti AppSense for endpoint provisioning, software deployment, application management, compliance, and patch management.
• Manage identity and access services using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory, ensuring secure authentication and policy enforcement.
• Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender security solutions, endpoint protection policies, and device compliance standards.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Operating System Deployment (OSD) solutions, image management, task sequences, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, streamline operational processes, and improve system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex EUC infrastructure issues across virtualization, endpoint management, identity, and cloud services, providing Level 3 technical support.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security while proactively identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, and application teams to deliver integrated EUC solutions.
• Develop technical documentation, operational runbooks, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Stay current with emerging Microsoft and Citrix technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve the end-user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in End User Computing (EUC) or Workplace Infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, including Citrix DaaS, XenApp, NetScaler (ADC), StoreFront, and Director.
• Proven experience designing and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Machines.
• Extensive experience administering Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and endpoint management solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and identity management.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security best practices.
• Expertise in Operating System Deployment (OSD), image creation, application packaging, and endpoint provisioning.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills with experience automating administrative and operational tasks.
• Experience managing enterprise endpoint lifecycle, patch management, software distribution, and device compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across virtualization, endpoint management, cloud infrastructure, and desktop technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within ITIL-based service management environments is highly desirable.
